DANIELA FLORES MAGON BUSTAMANTE. Mexico City 1977
Fascinated by the vivacious imagination characteristic of her culture, and following the traditional techniques of Mexican "cartonería" Daniela produces her work using the force of vibrant colours and capricious organic forms that speak for themselves. Through a contemporary vision of art, she has found a style that continuously evolves.

Daniela started her painting and sculpting studies around 1990. She studied a Masters in Visual Arts and has taught multiple art courses and workshops for kids. Her work has been exposed both individually and collectively in Mexico and Holland.

ALEBRIJES
"Alebrijes are beings that protect your dreams." They are animals of odd shapes, sculpted from wire and cardboard and painted with vibrant colors. Today they are an important part of Mexican culture and tradition.
